The David Reid Homes Canterbury team are excited to share that our new showhome is now underway in Berryfields, Highsted. Designed as a well-proportioned architectural statement, this home addresses its prominent corner site with confidence while still offering a strong sense of privacy for its future visitors.

The design centres around two distinct pavilion forms, each with its own purpose, working together to create a cohesive and considered layout. Expansive, oversized windows capture natural light throughout the day and frame clear views to the outdoors, while a double-height void in the main living area adds a sense of openness and becomes a key feature of the home. The entryway is set back intentionally, providing a welcoming yet sheltered arrival point.

This showhome will also showcase the new James Hardie Board and Batten cladding, adding a fresh and contemporary material palette that’s both durable and refined.

We look forward to opening the doors in May 2026.
