David Reid Homes has welcomed a new owner to the Hawkes Bay franchise. Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the construction industry.
Warren Jardine, pictured, has been building homes in the Hawkes Bay for 12 years, after shifting to the region from Melbourne, where he owned and ran a construction company for 18 years.
“We liked the lifestyle, and the climate of the Hawkes Bay. We only came out for a bit of a break, for a year, and we never went back, we just enjoyed the pace of life,” he says.
After falling in love with the region, Warren spent over a decade contracting to a range of building companies in Hawkes Bay.
He liked the high quality nature of David Reid Homes builds, and jumped on the opportunity to become the franchise owner when it arose.
“I just liked the build quality, and also the fact that their builds have more architectural flair to them,” Warren says.
“Seeing what the other franchises are doing around the country, we thought that would be a good legacy to continue.”
Warren has already begun putting together the plans for his first Hawkes Bay show home under the David Reid Homes name, with construction expected to get underway in May.
The pavilion style home will be based in Havelock North and will showcase expansive family living, he says.
Warren has worked in both housing and commercial construction, and has the ability to arrange viewings of his previous home builds for potential clients.
He welcomes the opportunity to discuss your design and build, and can be contacted on 021 136 8039.
