David Reid Homes Kapiti turns 10

The team are marking the occasion with 10 weeks of giveaways on their Facebook page, as a way of saying ‘thanks’ and sharing their success with the greater Wellington community.

It’s a time of reflection as well as celebration, says Managing Director Tim Sunderland.

“It’s a major milestone for us, looking back at our work over the past decade, we’re proud of the journey we have undertaken.  We have experienced many high points, have met some wonderful people and have built our customers’ homes that truly reflect their unique needs, dreams and personalities.”

During the past 10 years, the Kapiti office has built 123 homes, placed more than 626,000 lineal metres of timber, poured almost 5,000 cubic metres of concrete and installed more than 6,000 cubic metres of insulation.

Since starting David Reid Homes Kapiti in 2005, another major highlight included purchasing the Wellington franchise, essentially growing to service the entire greater Wellington region.

With 49 Registered Master Builders House of the year awards under their belt, David Reid Homes Kapiti is proud to be the Wellington Region’s most awarded building company over the past decade.

The number of awards reinforced their reputation for building quality, unique homes as well as their position as a true design and build company, he says.
