David Reid Homes Queenstown is pleased to be getting behind the region’s iconic Peak to Peak.
Owners Fraser and Abi MacKenzie have opted to become the naming sponsor for the annual winter multisport race, and event some of their team will be competing in.
“We’re really excited to be getting behind this iconic Queenstown event,” Fraser says.
“We love living and working in this beautiful area and the David Reid Homes Peak to Peak is an amazing event linking the wider Queenstown region together.”
The David Reid Homes Peak to Peak is a 44km event which starts at the Remarkables and finishes at Coronet Peak.
It incorporates skiing or snowboarding, running, kayaking and biking to take competitors on a picturesque and challenging tour of Queenstown.
The race encourages people to get outdoors and make the most of the region, something which aligns well with Fraser and Abi’s work and life vision.
Race director Adrian Bailey agrees, and is thrilled to welcome the David Reid Homes Queenstown team to the race.
“There is a great alignment between our two brands with a joint focus on supporting people to live their best life in the Southern Lakes and wider region,” Adrian says.
“Through this partnership we can use our shared values and resources to build this local community event, encourage more people to get out into the outdoors and make the most of this amazing playground that we all call home.”
Taking place on Saturday, September 14, the David Reid Homes Peak to Peak attracts a significant number of local people, businesses and families to compete.
Entries are open for all race categories including solo, schools, tandem and business teams here.
If you would like to explore setting up a home or holiday home in the Queenstown area permanently, you can contact Fraser and his team directly here.
