Work to Begin on New Taranaki Show Home

The newest building company in New Plymouth -  David Reid Homes Taranaki - is already making its mark on the region. Despite just a few months in operation. Co-owner Karen Mumby says work at their new Taranaki show home, is expected to be underway by the end of May.

Karen and the team already have a series of client projects underway, and recently opened their new office in the heart of New Plymouth.

Despite being new to the David Reid Homes family, Karen and her husband, co-owner Nathan Mumby have many years’ experience working in New Plymouth's home building industry. As does their colleague, new home consultant Darryl Taylor.

“Our work fits really well with the high-quality nature of David Reid Homes builds, they are bespoke homes carefully designed for the individual client,” Nathan says.

“We’re now open and we’re excited to help people into dream homes of the David Reid standard,” Karen adds.

The couple also owns and operates a commercial construction business, specialising in commercial builds and swimming pools.

“Our swimming pools fit really well with the top-end style of David Reid Homes,” Nathan says.

As with all David Reid Homes Franchises, the Taranaki team take a collaborative approach to design and build projects. Working with a project manager, architect and the client to fulfil their needs and remain within their budget.

The public will have the opportunity to explore David Reid Homes Taranaki’s work in the flesh, when the Taranaki show home opens prior to Christmas.

In the meantime, the team will be available to discuss your needs in their office at 10-123 Devon Street East, New Plymouth. It is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30am until 5pm, Friday 8.30am until 4pm. Or by appointment.
