David Reid Homes Waitaki and South Canterbury specialise in custom built, design and build homes.

The Waitaki/South Canterbury area extends south of Rangitata River down to Moeraki and Palmerston, and includes Timaru, Oamaru, Twizel and Tekapo.

Owners, Aaron and Nikki Mackay, pride themselves in building homes that raise the standard in this area.

Aaron is a Licenced Building Practitioner who Project Manages the build, utilising his 15 years in the building industry. He has built architecturally designed homes in New Zealand and Australia, and now manages his team of builders locally.

Recent success has seen David Reid Homes Waitaki and South Canterbury winning gold with all three houses entered in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition. Two of these were named category winners and were placed in the top 100 entrants in New Zealand, with one going on to win the New Home up to $450,000 category. The homes range from an economical build to a large family home, and are all very different in style.

Aaron and Nikki work with clients to ensure the building process is a fluid transition from initial meeting and concept design, to moving in. They offer the complete service, tailoring the build to individual client, listening to what is important to ensure the home is functional and well designed. They provide complete job pricing, ensuring open communication and realistic expectations while utilising local architectural draftsmen, designers and tradesmen to provide a turn key service of high quality homes that they are proud to stand beside.
